Happy Mother's Day Mom!!  I miss you so much!  Here is a GIANT FLOWER I'm sending to Heaven in honor of you!  Each time McKenna and I travel -- I feel you with us!  I know you are with us!!  Forever holding you in my heart, and always truly thanking God for giving "YOU" to be my Mom, and a Grandma Belle to McKenna & Parker ...although your time with us all was cut far too short and Bella having never met you suffers even the worst, I cherish all the memories ..no matter how big..no matter how small and I truly know I was blessed to have you ..if even for a short time!  

Missing you, Remembering you, ...but above all .. WISHING YOU WERE HERE....

Heaven Needed Mom...

So many things of Mom we miss..
Her gentle hug and tender kiss.

We still can feel her warm embrace.
and picture yet her loving face.

A mother's tasks are never done.
and Heaven must have needed one.

For angels came and took her hand,
and led her to God's promised land.

She's surely kept quite busy there,
while brushing little angels' hair.

And making sure they're dressed just right,
Not staying out too late at night.

Although there's sadness, this I know,
She's waiting there, her face aglow.
We close our eyes and we can see with pride
Her arms still open wide

I miss you Mom.  This winter has been very long, and very lonely.  Lots of time to think of you, and wish that life were different and that you were here.  Please know I will never forget you.  My heartbreak over losing you will never fade.  If anything, it grows over time, and I just find myself each and every day looking for signs from you, and holding the memories I have of our life together with you tightly within my heart.   Missing you -- as always -- Angie.

We Love you Grandma Belle.  Sending Thanksgiving blessings to you & all our angels above that we are missing this Thanksgiving Day!

Mom this morning I was packing lunches and out of the blue from the living room Parker shouted "Mom, what's your favorite Thanksgiving memory or tradition"?
It was funny, I didn't have to pause and take time to think, before I knew it my mouth was opening and I was talking ... here is what I told him...
No doubt my favorite memory is of Thanksgivings past growing up when Mom's family came to Thanksgiving dinner at our house!  I remember years with Aunt Sally & even Uncle Steve.  I remember Mom wearing her apron "I'm not fat - I'm undertall" --running around the kitchen like a chicken with its head cut off.  Grumbling to me that I never would be a good wife because I didn't want to watch her cook!  LOL --- Grandma Toddy and I would be sitting at the kitchen table playing 500 rummy or crazy 8's and I would help fill Mom's deviled eggs!!

Ahhhhh I miss those days... so much, but the memories I cherish deep in my heart always ... buried down deep-- never to slip away.
I miss you beyond words, and pray that we all have a Happy, Safe, and Healthy Thanksgiving and that we cherish whomever we be with this Thanksgiving, and take time to be thankful for all we had in the past, all we have now, and pray that our future can be a blessed one.

Holding you in our hearts as you celebrate another birthday in heaven.  Watch from heaven above tomorrow night while we have dinner in your memory -- all of us will be thinking of you & holding our own special memories of happy times with you in our souls.  We miss you so very much!!

Missing you -- as always.  Always my thoughts turn to you, but especially on these days of autumn, when I remember how much you loved this time of year, but also how sad our hearts were when we lost you in October 8 years ago :-(  Life is forever changed, and our family will forever be missing its vital link -- y-o-u!
